Raketa (Russian: Paкéтa - 'rocket') watches have been manufactured since 1961 by the Petrodvorets This piece comes complete with a very nice. Strap size is 18mm.

HISTORY:

The first party of hours of the Rocket brand was published in 1961 [1][2]. The brand was called in honor of Gagarin's flight, however in countries of Western Europe and America the name was associated rather with the rocket USSR weapon.

On Petrodvorets Watch Factory the uniform mechanism for all models of hours "Rocket-2609Н" on the basis of which more than two tens modifications of hours "Rocket" were issued was created: with automatic subplant, with a calendar, with a 24-hour scale for polar explorers, anti-magnetic, for the blind.

The models "Russia", "Record", "Petrodvorets" became the first hours under the Rocket brand.
